Kent is the sixth largest city in the state and third largest in the county. Kent is in the heart of the Seattle –Tacoma metroplex, located 19 miles south of Seattle and 19 miles northeast of Tacoma. Incorporated in 1890, it is the second oldest incorporated city in King County after Seattle. Once a thriving agricultural area, Kent is now home to hundreds of companies. Among the many corporations headquartered in Kent are REI (Recreational Equipment Inc.), Oberto Sausage Company, Blue Origin, and the two largest waterjet companies in the United States: Flow International Corporation and Omax Corporation. Kent is divided into three major regions: East Hill, the Valley, and West Hill. Downtown Kent is located on the east side of the valley; the rest of the valley is almost entirely covered by warehouses. There is a good view of Mt. Rainier to the southeast.
OUR DNA: Real estate coffeehouse think tank; industrial meets mid-century modern, and a huge rustic whiteboard scribbled with group coaching and mastermind sessions. The conference room table covered with cups of coffee, laptops and notepads; while our agents are fully engaged and will depart feeling energized, up-lifted and ready to conquer what lies ahead. We’re not your customary Real Estate brokerage. That has never been the idea. The word “Sozo” is a Greek verb; and action word. The root of the word means to restore, to keep a safe and sound mind; to take action.
